For every 100 homes newly listed in London in September, just 27 sales were agreed, according to Sprift data reported by Property Industry Eye. That was the lowest rate of any region in Great Britain.

Across the country, new listings rose 14.8% in a month while agreed sales fell 16.1% (Sprift). In London, 40.9% of homes on the market had a price reduction (Sprift).

On a public portal, every week without a buyer shows. The listing ages, the price cut is visible to everyone, and the history stays online long after the sale.
